I booked this car on QEEQ while I was still at the office. It was already dark outside and I was going through emails on my laptop and checking cars on my phone at the same time. I needed a car in Corfu for a business trip. I picked a Dacia Duster with manual gear and it looked fine for the island. I checked the price, did a quick budget in my head and placed the booking. Some days later I was on the metro and scrolling on my phone when I saw a payment alert. The amount was lower than what I remembered. My first thought was that maybe there was some mistake and they charged me wrong before. I felt a bit nervous. I opened the booking and then I saw it was the Price Drop Protector working for me. The price for the same car and same times had gone down and they had made a new booking for me and sent back the difference. I remember the difference was about a few dozen ILS. For my company it is not a huge number but for someone like me who travels for work all the time it feels pretty nice. It felt like I got some free budget. I did not ask anyone to make the price lower. They just watched the price for me in the background. When I saw the new order was already confirmed I kind of bragged in my head to my coworker. I thought I can save money even when I am not checking anything. The funny thing is that I had already moved on to another project and was not thinking about this trip at all. I would never notice the price change by myself. So I did nothing and still got money back. My pick up is still in Corfu on the afternoon of June 18 and my drop off is still on the afternoon of June 27 and for me it just feels like I got a little extra meal budget on this business trip.
