"You only paid one dollar. Are you not scared something will go wrong" my friend asked me on a video call. I was a bit nervous too but I also felt it was kind of cool. I felt the car was already saved for me and I did not have to pay a big amount at once. A few days later I suddenly remembered it and checked my credit card again. There was no strange extra charge so I felt this way was pretty safe. Closer to my trip I saw the rest of the money taken automatically. The amount was the same as the price I saw when I booked. No extra cost. I felt very calm then. I usually feel some pressure when my credit card shows a big bill in one time. With this plan I first pay a tiny part and the rest comes later by itself. It feels much easier and I can plan my money better for these weeks. For someone like me who travels alone it is nice to lock the car early without using a lot of credit at once. The whole experience felt quite good.
