In that moment I felt that renting a car could also feel like someone is looking out for me. I used to worry that I always buy things at a higher price. This time it felt like someone stood behind me and watched the price and when it dropped they told me and gave me the difference. When I think about my flight to Spain and how I will go pick up the car in Barcelona on the morning of the seventeenth I feel a bit more relaxed. My budget has a little more space now. I can plan a bit more for my days. I might try one more cafe in the city or drive a little detour before I return the car and go see a small place. The price difference is not a huge amount but for me it is a proof that someone helped me save. Later I talked about this with my friends and I told them this was the first time I felt a rental platform helped me save money by itself. Before this I always thought they only want to earn more. This time they made the price go down and my booking cost less in the end. For someone who just started working this small money and this feeling of being cared for means a lot. It really changed my impression in a good way.
