Shuttle Bus Instructions AIRLINE PASSENGERS Follow the airport ground transportation signs to the shuttle island area. The common airport shuttle bus operates every 5-10 minutes and will take you to the Rental Car Center on the northeast side of the airport. FROM INTERSTATE 5: Take the Sassafras St exit and turn west onto Sassafras St. Continue through the traffic signal at the Pacific Hwy/Sassafras intersection and folow signs to the Rental Car Center. FROM PACIFIC HWY: Turn west onto Sassafras St and follow the signs to the Rental Car Center. FROM POINT LOMA: Take North Harbor Dr past the airport terminals. Turn left at Laurel St, then left at Pacific Hwy. Turn left onto Sassafras St and follow signs to the Rental Car Center.
